Edna W. Shell

EDNA W. SHELL, age 93, of Castine, Ohio, died Thursday, January 15, 2004, in New Madison, Ohio. Born on September 13, 1910 in Preble County, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Elmer E. and Martha (Bigham) Shinn. Member of the Castine Church of the Brethren in Castine, Ohio, the New Madison Senior Citizens and the Darke County Day Care. She is preceded in death by her Husband: Everett C. Shell in 1979;Brothers: Valentine, Lawrence, John A. and George A. Shinn; Sisters: Anna Harris, Dorothy Trissel, Ruth Shell and Martha Smith; Two infant Sons and Four Great Grandchildren.

Survivors include her Daughters: Marcia Amabisca of Richmond, Indiana, Virginia A. Baker of West Manchester, Ohio, Sandy Hall of Pineville, South Carolina and Marjorie Lawson of West Manchester, Ohio; Son: Paul “Eddie” Shell of Bowman, South Carolina. Twenty Four Grandchildren, Forty Seven Great Grandchildren and Twenty Great Great Grandchildren. Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M.- Monday, January 19, 2004 at the Castine Church of the Brethren - 624 US RT 127 S- Castine, Ohio with Rev. Greg Hyre officiating. Interment will be held in the Castine Cemetery in Castine. Family will receive friends on from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. on Monday at the church.
