Edna L. Hinton

Edna L. Hinton, age 89 of Lewisburg, OH, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in Eaton, OH. Born on March 27, 1925 in Lewisburg, OH, she was the daughter of the late Edward Everett & Ella May (Hawks) Grill. She had worked for Lewisburg Container. A 1943 graduate of Lewisburg Union High School, a Kentucky Colonial and member of the former Calvary United Methodist Church in Lewisburg.

Preceded in death by Sisters: Faye Vencill, Mary Wintrow and Mabel Isbel; Brothers: Edward, Joseph, David and Daniel Grill; Step-Daughter: Catherine Thompson.

Survived by Husband of 45 years: Jack L. Hinton; Children: Linda (Marvin) Evans, Lewisburg, James Rike, Lewisburg; Frank Rike & companion Vickie, Eldorado, Sandy (Landis) Eldridge, West Manchester and Rick (Bea) Rike, Nicholasville, KY; Step Sons: Jack Hinton, Jr. and Charles Hinton; Step-Daughter: Sharon Rydell; Brothers: Robert Grill and Richard Grill. 11 Grandchildren, Numerous Great Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 18, 2014 at the Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
