Edna E. Jenkins Wright

Edna E. Jenkins Wright, age 97 formerly of Sciotoville and New Lebanon, Ohio died Saturday, January 22, 2005 at Brookhaven Nursing and Care Center - Brookville, Ohio where she had been a resident since 1999. Born on January 2, 1908 in McGoffin County, KY she was the daughter of the late John M. & Vinetta (Montgomery) Jenkins. She had been a member of the United Baptist Church of Big Run, Ohio. Preceded in death by her 1st Husband: Clarence Jenkins in 1969 and 2nd Husband: Coy Wright in 1993. Grandson: Rick Howard; Sisters: Myrtle Ratliff and Bertie Phipps; Brothers: Fonzie Jenkins and Cecil Jenkins.

Survived by Son & Daughter-in-law: Lewis D. & Louise Jenkins of Lewisburg, Ohio; Daughters: Helen Salyers of Troy, Ohio; Lorraine McCormick of Beavercreek, Ohio; Betty Secrest of Englewood, Ohio and Nettie Howard of Lewisburg, Ohio; 24 Grandchildren, 51 Great Grandchildren and 30 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service Monday, January 24, 2005 - 7:00 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Dave Justice officiating. Family will receive friends Monday, January 24, 2005 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 - 1:00 P.M. at Memorial Burial Park - 10556 Gallia Pike Road - Wheelersburg, Ohio.
