Edith Mae Pansing

Edith Mae Pansing, 78, of Lewisburg, OH, died Thursday, September 8, 2016 in Eaton. Born on December 26, 1937 in Brookville, OH, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth A. DeLong, Sr. and Iris Mae (Hartrum) Shiverdecker. Edith had worked for Credit Thrift in Eaton, NCR in Dayton and retired from General Telephone in Brookville, OH. She was a 1956 graduate of Brookville High School and a member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by her Son: James Lee Pansing in 1978; Sister & Brother-in-law: Kathryn A. & Donald Guntle; Brother: Kenneth A. DeLong, Jr.

Survived by Daughter & Son-in-law: Brenda K. (Dean) Miller, Eldorado, OH; The light of her life, Granddaughter: Elizabeth Miller, Eldorado, OH; Sister-in-law: Charlotte DeLong, Eaton, OH; Beloved Nieces and Nephews; Best Friend and Caregiver: Doris Rogers, Eaton, OH.

Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Inurnment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH at the convenience of the Family. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 – 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
