Edith E. Werts

EDITH E. WERTS, 84 of Eaton, Ohio, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton. She was born on June 13, 1929 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Earl & Inez (Lewis) Albert. In addition to caring for her own family, Edith was a volunteer for the Sunroom Seniors where she delivered meals to the elderly in Sebring, Florida.

Edith is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Werts in 1993; daughter, Nancy L. Werts in 1984; brothers, Glenn, Irwin, Harry and Richard Albert; sisters, Dorothy Shaffer and Doris Good.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jacklyn S. & Jerry D. Rogers of Eaton and son, Daniel R. Werts of Riverside, Ohio; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl & Joyce Albert and Robert & June Albert all of Vandalia, Ohio; sisters, Thelma Wright and Shirley Wright both of Riverside, Ohio; grandchildren, Meredith E. & Aaron J. Cruze of Eaton, Rebekah E. & Jeff L. Siegel of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jason S. & Rachel Werts of Killeen, Texas, Lisa R. & Josh Ott of Metropolis, Illinois and Daniel R. Werts, Jr. of Hawaii; seven great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; special friend, Peggy Baily of Sebring, Florida.

Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 24, 2013 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio 45320 with Rev. Greg Jackson officiating. Inurnment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery, St. Rt. 503 North of West Alexandria, Ohio. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
