E. Juanita Swihart

E. Juanita Swihart, 76, of Eldorado, OH died Saturday, September 2, 2006 at her residence following a lingering illness. She was born July 24, 1930 in Richmond, IN., the daughter of Ernest J. & Mary F.(McCloud) Anthony, and was a 1949 graduate of Richmond High School. She married Charles R. Swihart, who preceded her in death on June 27, 1994. Juanita was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who enjoyed playing bridge with her friends in Eldorado, and was an active participant at the Richmond Senior Center. She was a member of the Eldorado Unitarian Universalist Church. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father in January 1988.

Survivors include her mother: Mary Anthony of Eldorado, son: Larry A. (Terri) Swihart of New Paris, OH. daughters: Brenda J. (Dave) Sizemore, West Alexandria, OH & Peggy Gulley (Dave Stewart) of New Paris, OH.; 5 grandchildren: Dustan Swihart, Nicole Hines, Larry Swihart Jr., Brett Sizemore, Tracey Herstich; 4 great-grandchildren: Katelyn Hines, Alexander Herstich, Hunter Swihart, Jackson Swihart; many nieces & nephews.

The Funeral Service for E. Juanita Swihart will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at the Bussard-Barnes-Vaniman Funeral Home, 311 N. Main St., Eldorado, Ohio with Rev. Kathryn Hawbaker officiating. Burial will be in Springlawn Cemetery, New Paris, OH. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. -1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
