Dwight L. Horine

DWIGHT L. HORINE, age 90, of Eaton, Ohio died Saturday, July 24, 2004 at his residence. Born on April 17, 1914 in Monroe Twp., Preble County, Ohio, he was the son of the late Alva B. & Blanche L. (Deem) Horine. He retired in 1971 after 30 years at Wright Patterson A.F.B. A WW II U.S. Army veteran, member of American Legion Post 215 in Eaton, V.F.W. Post 8066 and DAV #104 in Lewisburg. Preceded in death by Wife: Mary K. Horine in 1998, Brothers: Raymond, Dale and Junior Horine.

Survived by Brothers: Ralph Horine and Robert Horine both of Eaton, Ohio; Sisters: Helen Zimmerman, Eaton, Ohio, Thelma Agnee, Battlecreek, Michigan, Jean DeHart, Eaton, Ohio, Mary Davenport, Dallas, Texas, Doris Clark, Eaton, Ohio, Jan Schultz, Palmetto, Florida.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. (Ohio Time) on Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison and Rev. Jay Madigan officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton with military honors by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 27, 2004 from 11:00 to 1:00 P.M.(Ohio Time) at the funeral home.
