Duane O'Dell

DUANE O'DELL, age 55, of Eaton, Ohio, died Saturday, April 28, 2007 at his residence. Born on November 13, 1951 in Hamiton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ulace Jackson & Gladys (Neanover) O'Dell. He attended Twin Valley North High School in Lewisburg and had worked in the maintenance department at Parker Hannifin in Eaton for the past 19 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served his country for 6 years. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by sisters: Verna Siller and Geneva O'Dell both in 2004.

Survived by his wife of 13 years: Delores Jean (Allen) O'Dell; sons and daughter-in-law: Robert & Carrie O'Dell of West Manchester, Ohio and Duane O'Dell, Jr. of Springfield, Ohio; step-children: Jessica Taylor & Danny Sandlin both of Eaton; brothers and sister-in-law: Lloyd O'Dell of Floral City, Florida and Melvin & Linda O'Dell of Eaton; sisters and brother-in-law: Ellen Guthrie & Mike Marcho of Inverness, Florida and Loretta Shumard of Greenville, Ohio; Eight grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at the Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street- Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Lowell T. Spencer officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
