Duane K. Mendenhall

Duane K. Mendenhall, 79, of Lewisburg, OH, died Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton. Born on August 30, 1933 in Piqua, OH, he was the son of the late Raymond and Clara (Pierson) Mendenhall. Duane was a 1951 graduate of Richmond High School and a 1962 graduate of Earlham College both in Richmond, IN. He served 51 months in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Duane was an English teacher for 25 ½ years at Preble Shawnee High School in Camden, OH.

Preceded in death his Sisters: Mardell Ritter and Ardith Eyer

Duane is survived by his Brother & Sister-in-law: David (Mary) Mendenhall, Lewisburg, OH; Sisters: Arlene Fansher, Lowell, MI and Karen Binion, Wayland, MI; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Castine Cemetery, Castine, OH.
