Doyle K Combs

Doyle K. Combs, age 74, of Eaton, Ohio, died Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at his residence. Doyle was born on January 31, 1939 in Richmond, Kentucky, son of the late Albin & Mae (Chrisman) Combs. Doyle proudly served in the US Army from 1961 to 1963. Doyle retired from General Motors. Preceded in death by his brothers, Sylvester, Harold and Berlin Combs; brother-in-law, Melvin Diggs.

Survived by his sister, Christine Diggs of New Paris, Ohio; brother & sister-in-law, Orbin & Joan Combs of Stoughton, Wisconsin; nieces & nephews, Kim (Don) Fields of New Paris, Ohio, Kris (Ted) Walker of Somerville, Ohio, Kandi Stowers of New Paris, Ohio, Steve (Barb) Combs of Stoughton, Wisconsin, Kathy (Mark) Campball of Texas, Amy Likeness of Texas, Rick Combs of Buckeye, Arizona and Mary Kanner of Arizona; numerous great nieces & nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main St., New Paris, OH 45347 with Rev. Dave Chrisman officiating. Interment will be held at Springlawn Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
