Doyle D. Demotte

Doyle D. DeMotte age 80 of Lewisburg, OH died Sunday evening, April 12, 2009 at his residence. Born on April 30, 1928 in Preble County, Ohio he was the son of the late Howard T. & Mabel (Mt. Castle) DeMotte. Doyle was a 1946 graduate of Lewisburg High School a Harrison Township farmer and Harrison Township Trustee for several years. He retired in 1976 from General Motors – Frigidaire & Harrison Radiator after 30 years of service. He attended Lewisburg United Methodist Church, was a Boy Scout Co-Leader and Lewisburg Little League Coach. Preceded in death by Sister: Amy L. Hoke in 1996.

Survived by his wife of 61 years: Evelyn L. (Engle) DeMotte; Sons & Daughters-In-Law: Donald & Brenda DeMotte of Warren County, OH; Alan L. & Sheila DeMotte of Lewisburg, OH; Daughter: Janet DeMotte of Brookville, OH; Brother: Francis M. DeMotte of Lewisburg, OH; 5 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, Aunt: Winnie Mt. Castle, Nieces Nephews and Cousins.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Barnes Funeral Home – 411 North Commerce Street – Lewisburg, OH with Rev. Mike Pratt and Rev. Seth Schlotterbeck officiating. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg.
