DOUGLASS Z. WALTMAN , age 66, of Lewisburg, Ohio died Sunday, October 5, 2003 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Born on December 19, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles D. & Rosemary (Ziegler) Waltman. He was retired from J-Tech, Inc. in Greenville, Ohio where he was a Telephone Contractor. Member and Past Master of the Libanus Lodge # 80 F& AM, of Lewisburg; Member and Past High Priest of the Palmyra Lodge # 235, of Brookville, Ohio; Member and Past Patron of the Ideal Chapter # 293 of Lewisburg; Member of the Scotish Rite Valley of Dayton and member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by a Brother: Jeffrey Waltman and a Sister: Mary Adell Waltman.

Survived by his wife of 44 years: Ruby J. (Johnson) Waltman; Daughter: Melora L. Waltman of Dayton, Ohio; Son: D. Whitt Waltman of Greenville, Ohio; Sister: Kristina S. Waltman of Dayton, Ohio; Nephew: Jon (Leslie) Waltman of Dayton, Ohio and Great Niece: Taylor Waltman.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2003 - 10:00 A.M.(Ohio Time) at the Barnes Funeral Home- 411 North Commerce Street- Lewisburg, Ohio 45338 with Rev. Michael D. Pratt and Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 P.M.(Ohio Time) at the funeral home. Masonic Services will begin at 8:15 P.M. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lewisburg United Methodist Church-Building fund- 200 West Dayton Street-Lewisburg, Ohio 45338.
