Douglas R. Kruse

DOUGLAS R. KRUSE, age 60, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died suddenly on Friday, June 16, 2006 at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton, Ohio. Born on October 30, 1945 in Piqua, Ohio, he was the son of Edward C. & Florence C. (Miller) Kruse. A 1963 graduate of Piqua Catholic High School he was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired in 1992 from the E&E Electric where he was a salesman. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lewisburg and is preceded in death by his father.

Survived by his wife of 20 years: Mary L. (Crowell) Kruse; Mother: Florence C. Miller of Greenville, Ohio; Sons: Richard Edward Kruse and Jason Andrew Kruse; Daughters; Stephanie Lynn Kruse Bowling and Amy Kruse. Brother: Ralph Kruse of Pleasant Hill, Ohio. Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at Barnes Funeral Home- 411 North Commerce St.-Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Brent L. Cavendish officiating. Interment with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
