Dorothy Marie Popst

DOROTHY MARIE POPST, age 98 of Hanover Township, Hamilton, Ohio, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014 at Berkeley Square in Hamilton, Ohio. She was born on January 23, 1916 in Camden, Ohio daughter of the late Frank and Myrtle (Moore) Lackey. On August 15, 1936 she married the love of her life Andrew S. Popst who precedes her in death after 64years of marriage.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Dorothy is preceded in death by her son, Jan A.; sister, Lily Mae Kelly and brothers, Louis and James Lackey.

She is survived by her Son and Daughter-in-law, Andrew and Marty Popst of Fairfield; Grandson, Greg and Lynn Taylor of Largo, FL; Granddaughter, Stacy and Rob May of Fairfield; Three great grandsons, Ethan, Landon and Quinton May; Brother, Gene Lackey of Camden and loving sister-in-law, Mary Lackey of Camden; nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the wonderful friends at Waterford of Fairfield, the staff of Berkeley Square of Hamilton and the angels at Hospice of Hamilton for their comfort and care.

Services will be Private and held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in Darrtown Cemetery in Darrtown, Milford Township, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Nein-Barnes Funeral Home- Camden, Ohio.
