Dorothy Mae (James) White, age 83 of Eaton, Ohio, died Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Greenbriar Nursing Home in Eaton, Ohio. Born on December 5, 1928 in Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Hugh A. & Freda P. (Maeder) James. Dorothy was a cook for many years at Yoder's Sail Inn in Eaton, Ohio.

Preceded in death by her Sister, Mert Britian; Brother, Harold James.

Survived by her Children, Rosemary (Bucky) Buckingham of New Paris, Ohio, Doug (Edie) White of Camden, Ohio, Katherine White of Eaton, Ohio, Pauline White of Eaton, Ohio, Marie White of Kentucky, Debbie (Homer) Bland of Morning Sun, Ohio and Darlene Gilbert of Eaton, Ohio; Sisters, Helen Glander of West Manchester, Ohio, Maggie Studebaker of Eaton, Ohio, Ilene Beane of Greenville, Ohio and Betty Heindl of Lewisburg, Ohio; Brother, Junior James of Lewisburg, Ohio; Grandchildren, Charlie, Crystal, Misty, James, Amanda, Zack, Tonya, Daniel, Kenny, Pam, Joe, Tracey, Tabby, Timmy, Rachel and Stacey; 30 Great Grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be held 12:00 PM, Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Elbert Sorrell officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home in Lewisburg. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio.
