Dorothy Carpenter, age 92 formerly of Camden, OH died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton, OH. Born on March 25, 1920 in Glendale, Ohio, daughter of the late Virgil & Effie Mae (Crump) Elliott. Member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Camden, OH. Preceded in death by her husband, James Carpenter in 1987; brothers, Delmer, Elmer, Roy and Lloyd Elliott; sisters, Mary Elliott, Vercie Chandler, Bertha Chandler and Grace Dunlap.

Survived by her niece, Donna (Bruce) Westover of Eaton, OH; Nephews, Delmer A. (Wilma) Elliott of Middletown, OH, Terry Elliott of West Alexandria, OH, Rick Elliott of Middletown, OH, William (Virginia) Elliott of Dayton, OH, James (Sandy) Elliott of Eaton, OH, David R. Elliott of Atlanta, GA and Ken (Kellie) Elliott of Eaton, OH; numerous great nieces & nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be 12:00 PM, Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home, 249 N. Main St., Camden, OH with Rev. Greg Jackson officiating. Interment will be held in Rose Hill Burial Park in Hamilton, OH. Family will receive friends one hour prior on Thursday at the funeral home in Camden. Condolences via www.barnesfuneralhome.com
