Doris M. Hughes

Doris M. (Johnson) Hughes, age 77 of Richmond, Indiana died, Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Arbor Trace in Richmond, Indiana. Born on June 6, 1932 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Hubert & Emily (Howard) Johnson. She graduated in 1950 from Jefferson High School. Doris was a member of the Central United Methodist Church in Richmond, Indiana.

Preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jack D. Hughes in 2005; brother, Gerald Johnson; daughter, Amy Tebbe in 2009.

Survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Jack G. & Krissi Hughes of Richmond, Indiana, Steven W. & Teresa Hughes of Liberty, Indiana and Jeffrey L. & Sally Hughes of Richmond, Indiana; son-in-law, Gary Tebbe of Brookville, Indiana; grandchildren & spouses, Steve & Maya Hughes, Jr. of Liberty, Indiana, Zachary & Daralee Hughes of Columbus, Ohio, Nicholas & Amanda Tebbe of Brookville, Indiana, Ron & Jerri Degner of Columbus, Ohio, Kerri & Trent Howell of Richmond, Indiana and Megan Hughes of Liberty, Indiana; great grandchildren, Allison Howell of Richmond, Indiana, Breanne Degner of Columbus, Ohio and Audrey Tebbe of Brookville, Indiana; special niece & spouse, Dawn & Brian Coates of Richmond, Indiana; special great nieces, Destiny Coates and Diara Coates both of Richmond, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Eldon Harzman officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at the funeral home.
