Doris E. Rose

Doris E. Rose, 89 of Eaton, OH, died Monday, October 12, 2015 at Vancrest of Eaton. She was born on June 3, 1926 in Eaton, OH the daughter of the late Charles W. & Eva I. (Swartz) Pitsinger. Doris had been an active member of Grace Lutheran Church, the church organist for over 40 years, and participator in Widowed Persons group. She had retired from the Preble County Courthouse. Preceded in death by her 1st husband: Elmer Henderson in 1973 and 2nd husband: Glenn Rose in 1981; sister: Delphine Pouppirt (2012); brothers: Virgil Pitsinger (1988), Kenneth Pitsinger (1996) and Bernard Pitsinger (1987); extended daughter: Mrs. Fay Fey (2009).

Survived by her children: Mr. Allen (Rose) Henderson – Toledo, OH;
Ms. Donna Henderson - Auburn, WA; Ms. Bobbie (Raymond) Dixson - Eaton, OH; and Mr. Wayne Henderson – Eaton, OH; extended family children: Mrs. Sylvia (Marion) Shellabarger of Piqua, OH; Mrs. Gennie (Jerry) Baumer of Richmond, IN; Mr. Bill (Sandy) Rose of Camden, OH and 22 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday November 1, 2015 at Grace Lutheran Church 111 Lutheran Drive Eaton, OH with Rev. Warren Reichert officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Cemetery 10:00 AM Monday, November 2, 2015. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, Eaton, OH.
