Donna Jean Grody

Donna Jean (Wendt) Grody, 78, of Eaton, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Reid Hospital and Healthcare Services in Richmond, Indiana. She was born on May 3, 1936 in Middletown, Ohio, daughter of the late Frederick and Mary K. (Gingrich) Wendt. She was an aide for the Preble County ESC for 11 years.

In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Richard Grody in 1990.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy & John Buehner of Connersville, Indiana, Teresa & Daniel Thompson of Eaton, Debbie Thompson of Dayton, Ohio, Terri Ashworth of Dayton and Tracy Grody of Columbus, Ohio; brother, John (Sandy) Wendt of Montana; sister, Bonnie (Richard) Mullins of Texas; grandchildren, Bryan Grody, Matthew Buehner, Natalie Allen, Kyle Sims, Christopher Donez, Dustin Sims, Benjamin, Hannah & Timothy Buehner and Tyler & Alaina Ashworth; great grandchildren, Damon, Sophia, Gabby and Scarlett; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, December 26, 2014 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Lowell T. Spencer officiating. Interment will be held in St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Trenton, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
