Donna J. Wolfe

Donna J. Wolfe, 90 of Eaton, OH died Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Forrest Park Health Campus in Richmond, IN. She was born on June 19, 1927 in Union County, IN, daughter of the late Oran Walter and Minerva Ethel (Buriff) Parks. Donna was a 1945 graduate of Kitchel High School in Kitchel, IN and was a dedicated farm wife, cook, gardener and seamstress. She was a life-long and active member of the Concord United Church of Christ in Dixon Township, where she served as a Deaconess, Sunday School and Bible School teacher and greeter for many years. She was on the first planning committee for the Preble County Pork Festival.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death her husband of 49 years, Gilbert Faye “Bud” Wolfe and her sister, Joann Treffinger and brothers-in-law, James Treffinger and Wilbur Waters.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Claudia W. and Dr. Patrick Anderson and son and daughter-in-law, Oran T. and Diane E. (Channel) Wolfe; sister, Susan Waters; grandsons, William Marc & Amanda (Porfidio) Bowers, Stephen Gilbert & Jennifer (Pollock) Wolfe, Matthew David & Betsy (Hopkins) Bowers and Travis Oran & Carrie (Weaver) Wolfe; great grandchildren, Luke William Bowers, Weston David Bowers, Samantha May Bowers, Caleb Joshua Wolfe, Beau Michael Bowers, Willow Faye Wolfe and Lazarus Oran James Wolfe; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Concord United Church of Christ, 2225 Concord-Fairhaven Rd., Eaton, with the family officiating. Interment will be held in Concord Cemetery, across from the church. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH.
