Donald G. Parker, Sr.

Donald G. Parker, Sr., age 77, of Camden, OH died Monday, July 17, 2006 after an extended illness at his residence. Born on July 3, 1929 in Hamilton, OH he was the son of the late Jesse & Thelma Bowsher Parker. He retired in 1991 as a Welder with Cohen Brothers in Middletown, Oh. and had worked at Dunkelberger in Somerville, OH. Member of the Ohio Horseman Council for many years. He loved riding his old mule Kate and loved his little bulldog, Dottie. Preceded in death by Son: Donald G. Parker, Jr. In 2005 and Brother: Dale Parker in 1968.

Survived by Wife of 57 years: Noretta M. (Ratliff) Parker; Sons & Daughters-in-law: William “Bill” & Kathy Parker of Bradenton, Fl. and Gary & Sandi Parker of Camden, OH. Daughter: Jean Parker of Camden, OH; Sister: Barbara Wilson of Palmetto, Fl. Grandchildren: Sarah, Steph, Gary Jr., Chris, Tish, Bill Jr., Rob, Duane and Diane. Great Grandchildren: Rob, Tish, Lori, Ryan, Stevie, T.J. and Tyler. Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral service will be Thursday, July 20, 2006 - 1:00 p.m. at the Nein - Barnes Funeral Home - 249 North Main Street - Camden, Ohio with Pastor Frankie Hunt officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 20, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
