Donald C. "Don" Shepherd

Donald C. “Don” Shepherd, 77 of Eaton, Ohio died Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Brookdale Senior Living in Richmond, Indiana. Born on May 30, 1944, in Camden, OH the son of the late Sonny F. & Ruby E. (Ray) Shepherd. Don was a 1962 Eaton High School graduate and U.S. Army veteran. He had worked for Dayton Tire and Parker-Hannifin and was a State Project Inspector with the Ohio Department of Transportation retiring in 2006. An active member and Past Master of the Bolivar Lodge #82 F&AM and Concord Church.

Preceded in death by wife of 48 years: Carolyn J. Shepherd in 2021: sister: Freda H. McLain in 1993; brother Robert Shepherd in 2012.

Surviving daughter & son-in-law: Shananne & Darrell Middleton; Step-Sons: James D. “Jim” Dudas and John C. & Nola Dudas; Brothers: James A. & Marilyn Shepherd; Raymond E. & Rhoda Shepherd and sister-in-law: Geraldine Shepherd. Grandchildren: Lori Middleton and Lindsey (Tim) Ditmer; Jessica (RJ) Schreiber, Chaz (Heather) Dudas and Jordan Dudas; Great Grandchildren: Jaelyn, Clyde, Miles, Derek, Braylen, Kinley and Wes.

Private Funeral Service will be held at convenience of the family with Rev. Brett Karanovich officiating. Interment will be in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Arrangements Entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, Eaton, Ohio.
