Donald A. Mcmurchy

DONALD A. McMURCHY, 81, of Eaton, OH, died Thursday, April 21, 2011 at his residence. Born on June 4, 1929 in Miamisburg, OH, he was the son of the late James A. & Ada Lucille (Gebhart) McMurchy. Don retired from Chemineer in Dayton, OH. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran having served during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Ohio National Guard. Member of Memorial Baptist Church in Eaton and a former member of First Baptist Church in New Lebanon, OH where he served as the Director of Evangelism and Outreach.

Preceded in death by his Daughter: Debbie Roberts and Son: Keith E. McMurchy.

Survived by his Wife: Glenna S. (Smith) McMurchy; Sons & Daughter-in-law: James A. (Carla) McMurchy, Phoenix, AZ, Donald J. McMurchy, West Carrollton, OH; Daughter & Son-in-law: Theresa L. (Rick) Ison, Somerville, OH; Brothers: Dale H. McMurchy and Gerald McMurchy, both of Miamisburg, OH; Several grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Memorial Baptist Church, 1307 East Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Bill Maupin officiating. Interment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH. Family will receive friends on Saturday on hour prior to service at the church.
