Don Buell, Sr.

Don Buell, Sr. age 86, of Camden, OH, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at his home. Born June 19, 1929, in Dunlap, Hamilton Co., OH, he was the son of the late Paul & Lida (Happ) Buell. Don was a 1947 graduate of Camden High School. Don was Owner & Operator of Don's Central Full Service Station from 1952 to 1976. Don retired after 10 years as an Auto Mechanics Teacher at D. Russell Lee Vocational School. He served on the Preble Shawnee School Board of Education for several terms. Served as President of the Camden Building & Loan Association. Don was also a Volunteer for the Camden Fire Department. Member of the Camden Lions Club. Member of the committee that brought Dr. Thomson to Camden. Don was one of the Founders of the Camden Day Golf Tournament and member of Liberty Country Club for almost 50 years. Member of Camden United Methodist Church.

Preceded by wife of 52 years, Wanda (Manning) Buell; grandson, Dustin W. Buell; brothers, Theodore Buell and Paul C. Buell; niece, Linda Creager; nephews, Wayne Dunaway and Jon Buell; brother-in-law, Lloyd Cole.

Survivors include three children, Karen (Rod) Baker of Liberty Twp., OH, Don (Debbie) Buell Jr. of Camden, OH and Jodie Anspaugh of Camden, OH; two brothers, Larry (Carla) Buell of Athens, OH and Michael (Alberta) Buell of Liberty Twp., OH; sister-in-law, Reva Cole of Eaton, OH; five grandchildren, Mandi (Sam) Ricketts, Chad (Amy) Baker, Leeann (Larry) Matthews, Zach (Kendra) Buell, and Addie Anspaugh; twelve great-grandchildren, Mekayla, Ryan, Grant, Braylynn, Siarah, Mackenzie, Piper, Darbi, Kail, Morgan, Reese and Finley.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home, 249 N. Main St., Camden, with Dr. Rev. Greg Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, OH.

Visitation will be held 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the funeral home in Camden and one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday at the funeral home in Camden.
