Dola Ruth Brown Muth

Dola Ruth Brown Muth, 82, of Brookville, OH, died Monday, November 6, 2017 in Brookville. Born on November 6, 1935 in Preble County, OH, she was the daughter of the late Frank & Grace (Shepherd) Huston. She retired in 1982 from Winters Bank in Dayton. Dola was a 1953 graduate of Lewisburg Union High School, sang in the choirs of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Lewisburg Methodist Church. She had also worked for Elder Beerman and McCalls in Dayton. She loved to play the organ.

Preceded in death by her First Husband: Bobby Lowell Brown; Second Husband: Eugene Paul Muth; Companion: Fred Van Dyke; Sisters: Marjorie L. Robison, Helen L. Morris, Maxine A. Eley and Glenna Mae Simpson Rankin.

Survived by Nieces and Nephews: Jackie (Bill) Walton, Terrie (Bob) Hundley, June (David) Watts, Bob (Sarah) Simpson, Alan (Kathy) Eley, Lana (Jed) Smyer, Kathy (Russ) Ruebush, Julie (Todd) Cottingim. Great Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce St., Lewisburg with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Friday one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
