Dixie J. Shepherd

Dixie J. Shepherd, 84, of Eaton, OH, died Tuesday, January 5, 2016 in Oxford, OH. Born on August 2, 1931 in Eaton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Roy Edward & Thelma Laura (Fudge) Williams. She was a 1949 graduate of Camden High School.

Preceded in death by Husbands: Paul Chaney and Jerry Edwin Shepherd; Granddaughter: Angela L. Chaney and beloved dog "Whiskey".

Survived by Daughter: Vickie (Jim) Johnson, Fairfield, OH; Sons: Rick (Alice) Chaney, Gratis, OH and Paul C. (Tina) Chaney, Camden, OH; Step Sister: Nancy Cottingim; 6 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home, 249 North Main Street, Camden, OH with Dr. Rev. Greg Jackson officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden. Family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
