Diann C. Brown

DiAnn C. Brown, age 70, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Tuesday evening, October 2, 2012 at her residence. Born on August 25, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Homer L. & Helen (Riley) Harris.

DiAnn had worked as a carpenter at Vindale Corporation and Benckmark Corporation for over 22 years. She then worked with her husband for 10 years in home improvements before her illness. Member of the First Brethren Church in West Alexandria where she gave her heart to the Lord. Recently she has attended the Castine Church of The Brethren. Preceded in death by sisters: Dorothy Synder in 2005 and Jean Jones in 1959; brothers: Thurman Harris in 1998, Tom Harris in 2000 and Frank Harris in 1997; step-son: Ron Brown in 1996.

Survivors: husband of 40 years: Larry W. Brown; daughters: Kim (Ray) Stone and Carol (Jim) Gaver both of Lewisburg, OH; Toni Stukins of Texas and Missy Brown of Verona, OH; son: John Stukins, Jr. of Fairborn, OH; grandchildren: Erica & Jessica Stone, Jason Mummert, Keith Seery, Filisha Johnson, Austin Stukins, Kevin Stukins, Stacy Shannon and Anthony Brown. Five great-grandchildren; brothers: Homer Harris of Florida; Bob Harris of Phillipsburg, OH; Sisters: Mary Marker of Eaton, OH and Helen "Sis" Peters of Florida.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Home 411 North Commerce Street Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Greg Hyre officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, OH. Family will receive friends on Monday, October 8, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
