Diane M. Reke

Diane M. Reke, 79 of Eaton, Ohio, died Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton. Born on October 4, 1942, in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John P. & Mary M. (Grimshaw) Buechele. Diane had worked at Pedro’s Mexican Restaurant in Richmond, Indiana and retired from the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery in Dayton, Ohio. She attended Visitation Catholic Church in Eaton. Diane enjoyed attending music and art events and traveling often with her siblings. She was very creative and could make simple things into a work of art.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Former Husband: Joseph A. Reke, Jr. in 2007 and her Son: Paul T. Reke in 2014.

Survived by Daughter: Joyce A. (Jeremy) Brinkley; Son & Daughter-in-law: Joseph A. & Lisa D. Reke, III; Sisters: Jane (Marion) Zwolski, Marge (Ed) Nickell; Brother: John (Kim) Buechele; 8 Grandchildren and many great grandchildren; Nieces, Nephews and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Visitation Catholic Church, 407 E. Main St., Eaton, OH with the Funeral Mass starting at 12:00 P.M. with Father David Doseck officiating.
