Diane L. Shroyer

Diane L. Shroyer 75 of Camden, OH passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital in Anderson, Indiana. Born on January 23, 1939 in Redwing, Goodhue County, Minnesota she was the middle daughter of the late James A. & Gertrude (Franklin) Matchan. Daughter of an Army recruiter, Diane moved numerous times, including spending some years overseas, finally settling and graduation from high school in Richmond, IN. She worked for many companies throughout her lifetime. Wife mother, grandmother, she was a member of St. Mary's Parish in Camden, OH.

Preceded in death by her first husband: Francis Schoemaker in 1970 and second husband of 40 years: John W. Shroyer in March 2012; brother: John Matchan in 2004.

Diane is survived by siblings: Di Ette (Robert) Rondot of Ft. Wayne, IN; James F. Matchan of Vernon, WI and Mary Hansen of St. Peter, MN; children: Teresa (Dan) Turner of Eaton, OH; Fritz Schoemaker and Frank (Tonya) Shoemaker of Richmond, IN; Chris (Lori) Schoemaker of Racine, WI; Sue Ann (Larry) Goffinet of Alexandria, IN; step-children: Shawn Shroyer of Richmond, IN; Peggy Shroyer of New Paris, OH and John Shroyer Jr. of Minneapolis, MN; 22 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
