Dewitt Oscar Studebaker

DEWITT OSCAR “Pee Wee” STUDEBAKER, age 86, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Saturday, September 11, 2004 at Reid Hospital and Health Care Services in Richmond, Indiana. Born on January 15, 1918 at Lewisburg, Ohio, he was the son of the late William Oscar and Myrtle (Chellis) Studebaker. He had been a Harrison Township farmer, truck driver hauling milk, feed and livestock. Member Haflinger Pony Association and the Verona United Methodist Church. He had resided at Vancrest Health Care Center since February of 2000. Preceded in death by his wife of 68 years: Betty Pauline (Arnett) Studebaker on June 26, 2004; sisters: Waunita Kolling and Katheryn Kolling; brothers: Roscoe, Guy and Carroll Studebaker.

Survived by sons and daughters-in-law: Tommy D. & Shirley Studebaker of Christiansburg, Virginia and Michael O. & Barbara Studebaker of New Paris, Ohio. Daughter: Nancy Lee Studebaker of Eaton, Ohio. Grandchildren: Kelly & Laura Studebaker, Belinda Studebaker, David & Pam Studebaker, Kevin & Becky Studebaker and Amy & Jeremy Studebaker Lipps. Great grandchildren: Ashly & Chloe Studebaker and Samantha Studebaker. Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio 45338 with the Rev Doris Arnett Whitaker officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery at Lewisburg, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 14, 2004 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
