Dennis N. Donovan

Dennis N. Donovan, age 78, of Lewisburg, OH, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 27, 2018.  Born on May 11, 1939 in Xenia, OH, son of the late Bernard Leroy & Dorothy Beulah (Ginaven) Donovan.   Dennis had worked at Dayton Press for many years and was a Security Guard for Merchant Security in Dayton, OH.  Member of First United Church of Christ in Lewisburg, OH.  Dennis proudly served in the US Army from 1956-1957.  

Survived by his Wife of 24 years: Judy Ann (Morris) Northern-Donovan; Children: Patrick (Becca) Donovan, Vincent (Steffnie) Donovan, Tedman (Sheila) Donovan and Holly Donovan; Step Children: Angela Crutcher and Richard “Andy” Claggett; Siblings: Glenn (Claris), David (Barry), Dale, Dorothy and Joycelyn (Stan); 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Pastor David O. Justis officiating.  Interment will be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, OH with Full Military Honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.  Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.  Condolences may be sent via www.barnesfuneralhome.com
