Dennis Ballinger

Dennis Ballinger age 80 of Camden, Ohio passed away Thursday, November 22, 2012 at The Greenbriar in Eaton, OH. Born on June 11, 1932 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky he was the son of the late Eddie Lee & Lona (Abney) Ballinger. Dennis served in the U.S. Marines during the Korea War and worked for American Aggregates in Middletown, OH. He was an avid fisherman. Preceded in death by his wife: Betty W. (Newton) Ballinger in 1998; twin brothers: Roy and Robert L. Ballinger; brothers: Mitchell, Virgil, Leonard, Casper; Hobart Ballinger and Charlie Ballinger in 2010; sisters: Edith Helard and Mary Lou Clark; half-sisters: Myrkie Ann Ballinger and Dorothy Shepherd in 2012; step brothers: Joe McNally and Ed Clark.

Survivors: son & daughter-in-law: Terry & Erica Ballinger of Camden, OH; Brother: Marion Ballinger of Hamilton, OH. Grandchildren: Hope & Kennedy Ballinger; devoted nephew: Keith E. Ballinger of Eaton, OH; sisters-in-law: Hazel Ballinger of Ross, OH; Thelma Ballinger of Orlando, KY; Alice E. Ballinger of Camden, OH; Betty Ballinger of Eaton, OH and Lydia Ballinger of Richmond, IN; half-sisters: Belle Ballinger, Linda Montjoy, Betty Newcomb all of Mt. Vernon, KY; and Evelyne Rusk of Cincinnati, OH; half-brothers: Bobby and Billy Ray Ballinger both of Hamilton, OH. Many Nieces and Nephews

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 at Nein - Barnes Funeral Home, 249 North Main Street – Camden, Ohio with Rev. Fred Schmidt officiating. Interment will be in Somerville Cemetery, Somerville, OH. Family will receive friends on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
