Della Jean Snell

DELLA JEAN SNELL, age 68, of Joplin, Missouri passed away at 5:32 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2011 at her home. Della was born December 22, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She moved to Joplin in 1991 from Dayton, Ohio.

Della married Roger P. Snell on October 13, 1991 in Middletown, Ohio and he survives. Additional survivors include two sons, Philip Snell, Crystal Lakes, Ohio and Michael Snell, Union, Ohio; one daughter, Aliza J. Wells, Erlanger, Kentucky; three brothers, Wally Jackson, Yuma, Arizona, Darrell Jackson, Richmond, Indiana and Benjamin Jackson, New Paris, Ohio; three sisters, Mary Louise Fox, Yuma, Arizona, Judy Ross, Morrilton, Arkansas and Wanda Ross, Las Vegas, Nevada, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Jerry P. Ross Sr. and Rev. Jerry Ross, Jr. officiating. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 6 - 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
