Deborah F. Terry

Deborah F. Terry age 73 of Eaton (Lakengren), Ohio died suddenly Thursday, November 23, 2023, at Kettering Health in Eaton. Born on July 11, 1950, in Louisville, KY she was the daughter of the late Martin P. & Dorothy Mae (Saam) McCue, IV. A 1968 graduate of Ursuline Academy High School in Louisville, Kentucky and she worked at the VanVleet Insurance Agency in Richmond, IN for over 20 years and retired from the Turner Insurance Agency in Centerville, Indiana. Past member of the Phi Chi Epsilon Sorority of Fountain City, IN and attended the Visitation Catholic Church in Eaton. Family was one of the most important things to Debbie, also known as mamaw to her grandkids, of which you could find her on any given day watching one of them in their varies sporting, music or theater events. Traveling from state to state within the same day to make sure she didn't miss a thing. Always greeting them with big hugs and kisses and telling each of them they were her favorite. She enjoyed afternoon movie dates, family trips of any kind, but definitely to Branson Missouri.  

Preceded in death by sister: Donna McCue in 2023 and brother: Martin P. McCue V in 2022; grandson: David Bruce Jones in 2000.

Survived by her husband of 50 years: Douglas J. Terry; Children: Tammy & Sean Jones of New Paris, OH and Stacy & Brent Cassady of Noblesville, IN; grandchildren: Austin Terry, Graham & Ciara Jones, Grace & Hunter Lee, Gena Moore, Garrett Jones. Sister: Carla McCue of Jacksonville, FL.  

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Barnes Funeral Home 220 East Main Street Eaton, Ohio. The Funeral Mass will be held 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Visitation Catholic Church 407 East Main Street Eaton, Ohio. Interment will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery 1600 Newburg Road Louisville, KY 40205.
