DEBBIE S. “Nanny” HOWARD, age 55, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Friday November 3, 2006 at her residence. Born on February 17, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Samuel Blakely & Sylvia E. Acker. She had worked at several local restaurants as a waitress including the Midway and Knipp’s. Preceded in death by her sister: Julia Hopper and brother: Robert Acker.

She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law: Billie Jo & Ernest Phillabaum of Lewisburg, Ohio. Son & daughter-in-law: Quinton & Christina Howard Jr. of Brookville, Ohio. Brother: Ronald F. Acker of Lewisburg, Ohio. Sister: Dorothy Utterback of Huber Heights, Ohio. Seven grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday November 9, 2006 at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Jackie Robinson officiating.
