Dawn C. Mccoy

Dawn C. McCoy, age 52 of Springfield, OH and formerly of Eaton, OH, died Sunday, January 22, 2023, at The Ohio State University James Medical Center. Born on March 3, 1970, in Richmond, Indiana, she was the daughter of Robert L. and Ruth E. (Hollingsworth) Dunlap. Dawn was a 1988 Eaton High School graduate and Co-owner of Adaptive Protection. She enjoyed reading, avid researching, and spending time with her family and her pets.

Preceded in death by her father: Robert L. Dunlap on May 2, 1996, Sister: Lyn M. Dunlap in 2006.

Survived by her husband of 32 years: Robert B. McCoy; mother: Ruth E. Dunlap of Beavercreek, OH. Children: Casey McCoy of Columbus, OH and Samantha McCoy of Yellow Springs, OH; Sisters: Terri C. (Tom) Stafford of Huber Heights, OH, Debra S. (Gordon) Pardee of San Clemente, CA, Roberta R. (James) Valley of Fairborn, OH, and Lula D. (Keith) Hake of Powell, OH, Many Nieces, Nephews & loving pets.

Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Friday, January 27, 2023, at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH. The Funeral Service will be 12:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Rev. James C. Sizelove officiating. Interment will be in Concord Cemetery, Eaton, OH.
