David O. Moore, age 61 of Brookville, Ohio died on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton. Dave was born on July 4, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio. In 1967 he graduated from Wilmington High School in Wilmington, OH. In 1971 he graduated from Le Tourneau University in Longview, Texas receiving a B.S. degree in Engineering. He had worked at Henny Penny Corporation, Bullen Ultrasonic's and the past 15 years as an Engineer at Silfex Corporation in Eaton, OH. He held several patents and worked with N.A.S.A.'s deep space telescope and other government projects. Dave was an active member of Eaton Church of The Brethren serving on the Elder Board, Sunday School Teacher, Youth and Music Ministry. He was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather. Preceded in death by his mother: Georgia Fay (Fraley) Moore in 2010.
Survived by his wife: Holly (Dininger) Moore; sons & daughters-in-law: Scott & Elishia Moore of Eaton, OH; Sterling A. "Andy" & Sherry L. Moore of Batavia, IL and D. Jared & Danielle A. Moore of Dayton, OH; Father: Don Moore of Eaton, OH; brother & sister-in-law: Donald & Sylvia Moore of Clarksville, TN; sisters & brother-in-law: Sharon & Mike Cobb of Eaton, OH; Susan Roberts and Tami Moore both of Orange, CA; 10 Grandchildren: Jaxon Reynolds, Oliver Moore, Georgia Ruth Moore, Ruby Moore, Emma Moore, Lainey Moore, Naomi Moore, Grant Moore, Gabriel Moore and Esther Moore.
Celebration of Life Service will be held 7:00 P.M. Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Eaton Church of The Brethren, 813 Camden Road, Eaton, OH with Rev. Martin L. Peacock officiating. Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the church. Private interment will be held in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton, OH.
