David E. Fasnacht

David E. Fasnacht, 65 of New Paris, Ohio, died Monday, August 30, 2021 at Reid Health, Richmond, Indiana. Born on April 4, 1956 in Richmond, Indiana, he was the son of the late Robert C. & Jacqueline (Street) Fasnacht. David has worked at Belden in Richmond for the past 40 years. He was a graduate of National Trail High School. He loved mechanics, woodworking and was a devoted family man and his greatest joy came from spending time with family and friends. He gave the gift of life by being a tissue donor. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Sisters: Beth Ann Fasnacht and Tamera Jo Dearth in 2002. 

Survived by his Wife of 31 years: Melanie Ann (McCurdy) Fasnacht; Children: Jessica Martin and Johnnie (Stephanie) McGovern, III; Siblings: Cathy & Bill Horton; Rick & Stephanie Fasnacht; Jerri Langworthy; Grandchildren: Lydia, Ian, Kaitlyn, Evan & Dylan McGovern; Nieces and Nephews. 

A Private Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery, New Paris.
