Darrell W. Michael age 86 of Camden, Ohio died on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Ft. Hamilton Hughes Hospital in Hamilton, OH. Born on May 27, 1929 in Camden, OH he was the son of the late Hescott J. & Daisy F. (Knott) Michael. Darrell was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran and a Life Member of the V.F.W. Post 1577 & American Legion Post 377 both of Camden, OH and the Eagles Lodge in Gratis. He was the owner & operator of Darrell's Heating & Plumbing in Camden, OH for over 59 years.

Preceded in death by his wife of 56 years: Lois E. (Osterberger) Michael in 2010; brothers: Edward Michael, Merle Michael, Marshall Michael and Hubert Michael; sisters: Madelin Michael and Kathleen B. White in 2008.

Survivors include Children: Dan & Judy Michael of Camden, Ohio; brother: Charles Michael of Camden; sisters & brother-in-law: Jean & Lloyd Cross of Camden, OH and Rose Mae King of Fort Myers, FL; Grandchildren: Danny Michael Jr. and Brandi Michael; Great Granddaughter: Sydney Michael; nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, April 25, 2016 at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home 249 North Main Street Camden, OH. The funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. Fred Schmidt officiating. Interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, OH with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
