Darrell J. Crone

DARRELL J. CRONE, 90, of Eaton and formerly of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Friday, October 10, 2008 at the Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton, Ohio. Darrell was born on January 20, 1918 in Mt. Hope, Ohio, son of the late Frank & Naomi (Hileman) Crone. He graduated in 1936 from Riley High School. Darrell was a Preble County Farmer for 28 years. Member of the First United Church of Christ in Lewisburg, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his half-brother, Raymond Crone; half-sister, Ruby Bachman.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Sarah Elizabeth Crone of Eaton, Ohio; daughter & son-in-law, Janice E. & Joe T. Hall of Eaton, Ohio.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, October 13, 2008 at First United Church of Christ, 400 North Main Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, October 13, 2008 at the church. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio.
