Danny Ray Bowman

Danny Ray Bowman 72 of Dayton, OH died Monday, August 10, 2020 at Kindred Hospital in Dayton, OH. Danny was born in Fayette County, Kentucky, the son of the late Ellis R. & Susie M. (Burchell) Bowman. He was a Truck Driver for many years; served as a Preble County Deputy Sheriff from 1970 to 1975 and currently working as a Security Guard at the Dayton International Airport for over 5 years. Danny attended the North Dayton Baptist Church and was a member of the church choir that sang at many area nursing homes. 

Preceded in death by son: Bret Aaron Bowman in 1996; wife: Karen Bowman in 2020; brother Doug Bowman in 1996. 

Survived by his children: Bart M. Bowman of Kentucky, Brian S. Bowman of Lewisburg, OH; Andrew M. Bowman & Matthew A. Bowman both of Huber Heights, OH; Angela G. Bowman of Lewisburg, OH. 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brothers: Wayne Bowman and Randy Bowman; Sister: Connie Payton. 

Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday, August 14, 2020 at Barnes Funeral Home 411 North Commerce Street Lewisburg, Ohio. A celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Dave Miller officiating.
