Danny R. Hollar

Dan R. "Danny" Hollar, age 80, of New Paris, Ohio died Sunday, July 17, 2016. Born on January 14, 1936 in Richmond, Indiana, son of the late Howard C. & Doris L. (Hall) Hollar. Danny is a 1954 Jefferson High School graduate. Danny retired in 1999 after 49 years at Flaig Lumber in New Madison, OH. Past President of the New Paris Kiwanis. Founding Member & Road Captain of the Harley Owners Group, Whitewater Valley Chapter in Richmond, IN.

Preceded in death by his half-sister, Judy Abel.

Danny's family includes his wife of 62 years, Barbara (Smith) Hollar; daughter & son-in-law, Roni (Robin) Ault of Laurel, IN; son, Clint Hollar of New Paris, OH; grandson, Cody; step grandchildren, Derik, Brittany, Natasha & Josh.

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St., New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Reggie Osborne officiating. Interment will be held at Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris. Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the funeral home in New Paris.
