Daniel R. Bowman

Daniel R. Bowman, 70, of Brookville, Ohio, died Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. Dan was born on August 13, 1943 in Greenville, Ohio and was retired from Eratech Environmental in Kettering, Ohio where he was a CAD Designer. He was a devoted husband and father and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Dan is preceded in death by his father, Roscoe Daniel Bowman in 2010 and his son, Richard Aaron Bowman in 1981.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia Anita (Nelson) Bowman; mother, Naomi Catherine (Fisher) Padgett of Greenville, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Tracey Bowman of Brookville; daughter, Kari Bowman and her fiance' Tom Diemunsch of Huber Heights, OH; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jane and Jack Garwood of Arcanum, Ohio and Betty and Frank Pitman of Greenville, Ohio; grandchildren, Erik Michael Evans and Kelsey Mychal Bowman; great granddaughter, Emma Grace; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, Ohio. Inurnment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery near West Alexandria, Ohio. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
