Daniel Edward Artz

Daniel E. “Danny” Artz, 70, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. Born on February 1, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Edward E. & Mary E. (Gehle) Artz. Danny retired after 45 years with Oren Plastering in Huber Heights. He taught apprentice classes for Local 132, Plasterers and Cement Masons in Dayton and raised cattle on their farm. His greatest times were with family and friends. 

Preceded in death by his Sister: Mary E. Taylor in 2018. 

Survived by his Wife of 53 years: Debra D. (Bowman) Artz; Son: Christopher “Chris” (Brandy) Artz; Sisters: Janet Wise and Evelyn Tyler; Brothers: Eddie Artz, Paul (Carol) Artz and Joe Artz; Grandchildren: Logan (Brandis) Artz, Sav, Olivia, Hunter Talan, Ricki, and Avery Artz. Great Grandchildren: Christopher and August Artz; Nieces and Nephews. 

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements Entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, Lewisburg, Ohio.
