Dale R. "Sonny" Taylor

Dale R. "Sonny" Taylor age 78, of Somerville, Gratis Township Ohio, went to be with his family on Sunday, August 17, 2014. Born on January 2, 1936 in Butler County, OH he was the son of the late Ray & Juanita Taylor. Dale retired 1991 from Armco Steel in Middletown, OH and attended the West Elkton United Methodist Church. He loved to hunt, fish, bird watch and do woodworking. Preceded in death by his wife of 48 years: Marion L. (Snyder) Taylor in 2002; sons: Dale Taylor, Jr. in 1955 and John Taylor in 1987; daughter: Belinda R. "Boo" Boggs in 2011.

He leaves behind his daughter & son-in-law: Lynn & Gary Ragle of Trenton, OH; brother: Ross (Mary) Taylor of Middletown, OH; grandchildren: Gregory & Erin Keith, Michelle White & Jason Meyer and Laura Ragle; great grandchildren: Abby, Hope, Aramis, Gabriella and Lily; best friend: Linda Tibbetts of Eaton, OH and many friends at the church.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 21, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home, 249 North Main Street, Camden, Ohio 45311. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairmound Cemetery – West Elkton, OH.
