Dale J. Price

DALE J. PRICE, 85, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at his residence. He was born on May 10, 1925 in Twin Township, Preble County, Ohio, son of the late Arthur Franklin & Mary (James) Price. Dale was a 1943 graduate of Brookville High School in Brookville, Ohio and was a farmer in Preble County. He was a member of the Shiloh Lutheran Church in Lewisburg and a lifelong member of the Twin Valley Rod and Gun Club in West Alexandria, Ohio.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Sue Linda Price in 1949; son, Terry Lee Price in 1950; sister, Dorothy Wogaman and brother, Lowell Price.

Dale is survived by his wife of 60 years, Naomi (Utz) Price; daughters and son-in-law, Carol Price and Kay & Michael Johnson both of Lewisburg; son and daughter-in-law, Paul & Jeni Price of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Tisha Johnson, Matthew(Amber)Price, Jamie(Joseph)Wilbur and Latonia Johnson; great grandchildren, Kaya & Silas Wilbur; sisters, Norma Steiner of Chicago, Illinois and Neomi Loy of Brookville, Ohio; sister-in-law, Betty Price of Brookville, Ohio; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Kristen Zimmann officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
