Dale Benson

Dale Benson, 78, of Eaton, OH, died, Thursday, December 27, 2012 in Richmond, IN. Born on August 3, 1934 in Tawas City, MI, he was the son of the late Joseph N. & Georgina N. (McDougall) Martindale. Dale worked all of his life in construction and was a member of the Carpenters Union of Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters. A member of the Milford Masonic Lodge #54, Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati, First Southern Baptist Church in Camden and was a U.S. Army veteran. Preceded in death by second wife: Emma Benson; Daughter: Vicki Carlson; Sister: Ethel Ulman.

Survived by Wife of 12 years: Pauline (Downs) Benson; Daughters: Laura & Ellen Benson, both of Florida; Step-Daughters: Alicia (Duane) Powell, New Paris, OH, Heather (Steve) Gotwalt, PA; Brother: Joey (Jenny) Benson, Tawas City, MI; Brother-in-law: Kay Ulman; First wife: Louise Benson of FL; Grandchildren: John Carlson and Amanda (Phil) Hebert; Great Grandchild: Savannah Hebert; Several Step Grandchildren. Memorial Service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at the First Southern Baptist Church, 35 North Liberty Street, Camden, OH with Rev. Greg Jackson officiating.

Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 29, 2013 in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Poast Town (Butler County), OH. Arrangements Entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, Eaton, OH.
