Cynthia E. Steiner

Cynthia E. Steiner, age 75, of Bellefontaine, OH, died Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in Springfield, OH. Born on June 6, 1939 in Lewisburg, OH, she was the daughter of the late Russell K. & Ferne L. (Stephens) Steiner.

Cynthia was a graduate of Lewisburg Union High School in 1957 and a 1962 graduate of Miami University. Cynthia was an educator for 30 years retiring in 1992 from Bellefontaine High School. She was a longtime volunteer at Mary Rutan Hospital and a member of the Logan County Retired Teachers Association.

She is survived by her brother & sister-in-law: Harold K. & Mary Steiner, Eaton, OH; a sister: Rosalie K. Croney, Port Clinton, OH; nephews, Brian Croney, Dean (Debbie) Croney, all of Port Clinton, OH; nieces; Katherine A. Steiner, Cincinnati, OH and Marie J. Steiner, Washington, D.C.; a great grand-nephew and special friends Alan and Maria Galvez.

Funeral Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. There will be no public calling. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, Lewisburg, OH.
