Clifford Moore

CLIFFORD MOORE, age 84, of Eaton, OH died on Tuesday, August 12, 2003 at Heartland of Eaton. Born on January 30, 1919 in Sudith, KY, he was the son of the late Alfred and Winnie (Havens) Moore. He retired in 1972 after 20 years of service with Armco Steel Corporation in Middletown, OH as a crane operator. He served in the U.S. Army AC during WWII; former farmer in Gratis Township in Preble County Ohio; member The Church of Christ in Eaton, OH. Preceded in death by a grandson: Daniel Clifford Moore in 1961.

Survivors include his Wife of 63 years Nora (Daniel) Moore. Sons and Daughters-in-law: Daniel A. & Connie Moore and Robert E. & Karole Moore both of Eaton, OH. Daughter and Son-in-law: Linda Sue & Arlie Kirkpatrick of Amherst, NY. Sisters: Bernice Hatfield of Mt Sterling, KY, Ruby Ferrell and Beatrice Donohue both of Berea, KY, Miranda Jones of New Port Richie, FL. Ten Grandchildren, Fifteen Great Grandchildren and two Great Great Grandsons. Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday August 15, 2003 - 11:00A.M. (Ohio Time) at The Church of Christ - 725 US Rte 35 West - Eaton, OH with Rev. Louis Captain officiating. Interment will be held in Preble Memory Gardens at West Alexandria, OH with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends on Thursday August 14, 2003 from 5 - 8P.M.
