Clifford Kountz

CLIFFORD KOUNTZ, age 78 of Eaton, Ohio died Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at Sycamore Hospital in Miamisburg, Ohio. Born on July 5, 1927 in Dayton, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Dr. Julius C. & Edna P. (Heintz) Kountz. Clifford retired in 1992 from Imperior House Motels in West Carrollton, Ohio. A 1945 Miamisburg High School graduate, WW II U.S. Marine Corp veteran, member of American Legion Post 213 - Eaton, Ohio, Bolivar Lodge #82 F & AM of Eaton, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton and had served in law enforcement with the Centerville, Ohio Police Department. Preceded in death by Sister: Callie Afleck.

Survived by Wife of 28 years: Dorothy R. "Dodie" (Yontz) Kountz; Son: Ralph D. (Bobbie) Kountz, Camden, Ohio; Step-Children: Dr. Jeffrey (Kathy) Hess of Maryland, Anita (Norman) West, Dublin, Ohio; 7 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held in August 2006 on Bosco Belle Island near Clayton, New York.
